The LPMI Program
The Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute of the Diocese of St. Petersburg is a program consisting of four years: an informal year of discernment and three years of formal training.
Each year of the four-year program will be repeated annually. The Ministry Formation Program offered through the Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute is accredited by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Commission on Certification and Accreditation,
What Is The Year of Discernment?
The Year of Discernment segment of the Institute is designed to accommodate all members of the diocese involved in or interested in being selected for ecclesial ministry.

Looking For LPMI Alumni
We are looking for all LPMI alumni. We are embarking on the beginning of our Alumni Association. This has been a dream of ours as well as a request of other LPMI Commissioned Participants. Emails have been sent asking for updated contact information.
